中国美术家协会会员，国家一级美术师，因对中国文化艺术事业贡献卓著，中华人民共和国国务院特授予他政府特殊津贴。

列入国家“九五”计划的重点书《新编芥子园画传》山水篇部分特邀王中年先生编绘。

Mr. Wang Zhongnian is a member of China National Fine Artists Association, grade 1 national fine-artist. He enjoys life long special government subsidy endowed by the State Affairs Office of the People’s Republic of China.duo to his outstanding contribution to the national art and culture.
He was invited and put in charge of the water-and-mountain section of the official fine art textbook "Jieziyuan Paintings Updated "------a royal fine art textbook that dates back to early Qing dynasty. This book was a major publishing project that had fallen into the ninth-five-year-plan of P.R.China.
